The Find Your Center Southern Cooking Competition is the annual recipe contest and cook-off of the area’s best amateur cooks. Contestants enter their original recipe with the story of what makes it special. Contestants may submit one entry for each of the categories. Only the best recipes and stories will make it the final round at The Annual Time Warner Cable BBQ & Blues Festival taking place on Saturday, September 11th, 2010. Prizes include $250 in kitchen smallwares and a $500 US Airways gift card.

Seasonal Ingredient: Sweet Potatoes
Recipe may be a side or an appetizer in which the main ingredient is sweet potatoes

Dessert: Apple Cobbler
