Crank Up The Grills!
The Southeast’s largest MBN sanctioned BBQ festival is back! Join us at the NC Music Factory for the 9th Annual Time Warner Cable BBQ & Blues competition and festival. Over 90 teams will cook and submit their winning entries for the judges to choose their favorites! National teams will compete for a chance to win up to $25,000 in prize money, the Governor’s Cup Trophy as well as a spot to represent the Southeast and TWC BBQ & Blues at the Memphis in May Championship in 2012. The local teams or “Backyard Grillers” will be smoking and grilling throughout the weekend for cash prizes.
It will be a great 2 days of beer drinking, pork eating and shaking your pig tail to the blues bands performing all weekend. Proclaimed by Governor Perdue as the State of North Carolina’s Official Memphis BBQ Network Championship Cook-Off!
Team Registration is hog busy this year! With more than 75 Backyard Griller teams registering we are at full capacity. MBN teams you still have a chance to register but don't wait too long as the spots are filling up quickly!
